The bungalow at Tanjore expresses a minimalist poetry of spaces. Every space captures a unique emotion through the form and pattern language. These defined spaces takes you through the intimate courtyard of the house to strongly enhance the figure and the ground. The art of converging contrasting volumes together in a perfect rhythm. The building is composed of three main axis comprising of two rectangular volumes arranged around a cylindrical form.

The soul of the house is captured in the cylindrical Pooja room space, which lies in the same axis of the Tanjore big temple on the larger context. Thus the east light enters through the courtyard, flushes through the library space and illuminates the cylindrical Pooja room. Encompassed by lush green farm and landscape on all sides, the building form stands out as an independent element of attraction on the highway road.
