The site is located within a dense urban fabric, therefore, the built volumes around the site creates a visual buffer and restricts the flow of light within the site.

The design intent was to create celebrative spaces within the house by overlooking into the context. Therefore, the building was broken into five boxes where every box opens out on all four sides to maximize the light flow into the built volume. These cuboids extend out towards the sky at various

levels to create a congregative environment through these interactive terraces. The four voids created by these volumes acts as a buffer and a break-out space between each activity. This in turn develops a beautiful journey of built and unbuilt within the house.

The central axis defines a square-shaped site into four quarters, where the centroid becomes the living area and the foreground of the axis becomes the foyer, while the destination of the central axis is a meditation space surrounded by a serene water body. The spatial planning creates a perfect balance of solids and voids on either of its axis to create a proportionate volumteric composition and consciously interlaced activities.
